Kirk, you are correct that Dija had tweaked you many times before he finally left the Bob Brinker Discussion Forum. And he had offered several times to leave when you showed your irritation with him. But I think your memory is a little different from mine about what you actually offered Dija at Suite101. Since Dija's account was never terminated, it goes without saying that he can post on all of your threads. But you specifically offered him a thread of his own which he could dedicate to pro-Brinker posts. You suggested that he could take over Libertypilgrim's thread called, "Brinker is not satan." I am the one who told Dija that he was welcome to post at Honey's Bob Brinker Beehive Buzz and he refused that as well as your offer. It seems to me that Dija would rather play the victim than put what happened between the two of you behind him. Now I'm sure that you view your time as much more valuable than mine, but I take issue with your conclusion that it would be a "waste of time" to show that what Dija posts is "often nonsense." And I think that proof of that fact is the time that you spend right here doing that very same thing. . .

I don't put much stock in private evidence, because I figure if it's any good, then it should be good enough to stand up to public scrutiny. Are you saying that his inaccurately calling Brinker a miscreant was one of the reasons you asked him to leave? That's the only case I know of where "didn't know that the word meant" was an issue. You didn't mention that when you asked him to leave your Brinker thread: suite101.com As for your other claims, I just looked back at some of the posts involved, and I can see why you didn't want to post the links. It's really not a slam dunk for either side. A lot of it is in what interpretation one puts on the things that were said. I think you're exaggerating what he said, but I think you were both losing your tempers. In any case, rather than continuing to go 'round and 'round about it, I suggest that we just let people read it for themselves and form their own opinions about what the correct interpretations are.
