Sure the colonial boundaries caused problems, but it is human migration that causes the big ones. Forget the state boundaries. It is the fact that a large influx of Jewish immigration started, with obvious intent to make a nation. Nadine can decry the Mufti all she wants, but at least the guy was not asleep. He lacked the power to prevent disaster, but at least he saw it coming.

Thus, I still contend that the prevalent hostility of Arabs versus Israel is more a manifestation of the concerted effort of those Arab governments to deflect attention and internal dissent from their own illegitimacy, and focus it upon Israel.

BS. If that were the case, free and democratic ME Arab states should have better relations with Israel. Just the opposite is the case. Look at the recent elections there. What do you see?
