i see your point there, i bought a couple % allocation to auy earlier...(when i saw NEM slightly in the green)...i sold calls on the shares though, so i'm not totally convinced -g-

Did you cover your GM short? You posted that a post of mine marked the top, when in fact it did not. I was unsure at the time but thought the chances of GM making it to the 30's were in fact 50/50 or better. GM did make to the 30's. Give GM and America a Big Cigar. I love America, and have kept The Faith. America will survive, and very very well. I think you should wait a bit longer before shorting GM. God this is a beautiful country. My favorite chart at the moment is the one appended. The reason it is my favorite is because almost precisely at the time all the 'goldbugs' started counting GM out, GM responded. Now who would a thunk it? TF? As I recall TF mentioned several times about the end of '05 that GM was gonna do a rebound. Now, based on my latest analysis, I will tell you that GM will once again more than likely be a Little Short. But be patient. You must be patient, and cure yerself of that gold bug itus. IF at the end of the year '05 the goldbugs would have funneled money into GM, they would of course on average be well ahead, as of today. The charts do speak. But alas, I think they (the goldbugs) will in the end come out on top. The goldbugs are true survivors. They are not Monty Python types. What was The Dude's name in Apocolyse Now? I think they are more akin to this guy (David Hackworth in reality). Hack passed recently, but I really really liked that guy. He was a survivor, died a wealthy man, and lived 1000 lives. I can not hope to accomplish all of his feats. Hackworth was a Good and maybe Great American. A GM count will come later, much later. The Little GM Short is yet coming. The Big GM short is well nigh past. And following the Little GM Short, we will see the Big GM Long. It is all coming, but ye must be patient.
