war tidbits.

1. Hizbolla reps tell AP that they didnt expect the reaction they got when they killed the 8 soldiers and captured 2. In a moment of candor he said that he expected the israelis to lob some shells and trade a few hundred terrorists for the 2 soldiers. In a very real sense this is israels fault he implied for establishing the relationship in prisoner trades.
2. Israel hit some banks in beirut that collected and transferred money for iraq. Lisa Meyer called one of the banks and asked how she could wire money to hizbolla. They actually gave her the account number but told her to keep it quiet. Wachovia bank broke off its realtionship with this bank today for obvious reasons.
3. Israeli soldiers having success surrounding cities and reducing the ability for katusha fire. Also enable israeli soldiers to move more freely outside of the city boundaries.

#4 Former president gemayl says lebanon must go back to 1949 armistice which bans fighting on the borders. I think lebanese leaders see light at the end of the tunnel based on these four points. Talk of turkish and egytian troops on the border.

If the UN is toothless then why does your hero Dubya keep going back to them for help?

It's the height of hypocrisy for warmongering baby napoleons like you to whine about the UN over Syria, Iran and Hezbollah. You completely ignored Dubya's illegally invading Iraq while ignoring the UN. In fact, your ilk cheered the slithering in of Bolton because you loved the idea of weakening the UN.

Now you wimper and whine that the UN isn't strong enough.

You have no standing to whine about anything since you've been completely wrong about everything. You have zero credibility because you still haven't learned your lesson.
