I would say that is a pretty accurate decription Gib-lol. The human species seems to have no limits to its group think achilles heel, or its unwillingess to think. Hillary clinton is about as Machevillian as they come. But here is the DELIMA the liberals have: there is no way we can ever tell the truth and win-lol: 1) we are hugely athiests 2) we generally agree on global warming 3) we generally believe in stem cell research 4) we are generally pro choice 5) we are generally against the death penalty 6) we are for public education 7) we do not care about flag burning 8) we are generally in favor of gay marriage 9) we believe in due process of the law even for terrorists 10)we beleive in the womens equal rights ammendment 11) we genrally believe in uping the minimum wage 12) we were generally against the invasion of Iraq 13) we generally believe raising taxes to balance the budge 14) etc,etc,etc, Everyone of the above topics, except pro choice (and in the red states even pro choice is in the minority) are minority positions which we liberals have to run from. This is how bush got elected. Even after his historically dismal presidency, people still generally dislike democrats-lol. For the above reasons. The mainstream of our culture is 20 years behind New Zealand, Canada and Europe, but about the same as Australia-lol.
