Big oil is now a monopoly because they collude.

You present no evidence for that assertion. Aslo even if collusion was rutine it would technically be a cartel not a monopoly.

If they do rutinely collude they are very bad at it considering their profit margins.

As soon as Bush-Cheney are gone, prices will plummet because gouging investigations will be on the way.

If I figured I could count on you to pay I'd offer a large bet.

If such investigations do happen and effectively function as price controls, expect gas lines to return.

Please define what you mean by gouging, you toss around the word alot. Its obviously one you like. What do you mean by it.
