Well, I predicted in 2003 before the invasion of Iraq that it will turn into a mess. Does that make me intellectually superior? I don't think so. I think it is just common sense. And if we bomb Iran now (which is all we can do now that we are stuck in the tar-shit of Dumbya in Iraq) as advocated by Kristol, Ledeen and sundry other neocons, I predict that we will get into an even bigger mess. One doesn't have to be intellectually superior to foresee that either.
