I have no real expectation for Lebanon to disarm the militants, although Hezbelloh appears willing to sign a peace deal backed by the EU. Even if Israel decides to keep up the pressure to prove a point, they need to step back from the disproportionate use of force. It's very sad to watch the extremists continue to stage these acts of war as if they were in the best interests of the people. It's equally sad to watch the Israelis completely overreact with a disproportionate use of force.
