You've got to admit, that's pretty mild compared to these examples. Trying posting posts critizing the liberal (THERE'S THAT WORD!) There are a few things that won't be tolerated- -created trouble just to cause trouble, prejudice with the exception of the French and Islamofascists, and excessive vulagirity. Other than that, have at it. And that includes attacking the moderator. Something not advisable on those other threads. When will you look at the facts instead of posing stigma's the media has projected to those that don't support their agenda? Exactly what facts do you refer to? What stigmas? What agendas? Do you think ALL presses and ALL broadcasters get it wrong? Who do you use for a source for events you cannot yourself observe then? Liberals? Right wing? left wing? Why not leave that off the table? Do we all want the same thing? Or do at least most of us want to be free? Want the same things? If we did, I doubt you'd see the arguments you do here. fresc wants me to pay his medical bills after he spent the money meant to go to medical insurance premiums on a kitchen remodel. I got a problem with that. It's called "personal responsibility". You don't? (fresc will be unbanned so he can answer. And he had best not waste his posts simply stirring the pot as he has in the past.) Freedom? We all want it. But you get as many definitions of that word as you do people. Saddam's and Stalin's definitions of freedom meant getting their way- -regardless. Growing up all I had to go on was what my parents had to say.. And the same thing applies to what we see on TV. You did no reading of independent sources? I did. As matter of fact my father was a straight-ticket down-the line Democrat union man. I decided that, overall, he was wrong. Would you forget your pride and consider the possibility that you have been manipulated by those people you trust and respect? You don't think maybe YOU may have been? I assume you refer to Iraq here. Sorry, I consider the war a mistake. BUT it does seem that a portion of Islam has declared war on us and western beliefs and values. How many incidents does it take to convince you of this? The attacks on the West didn't start as revenge for Iraq, you know. If you intend to try to sell that POV, you've got your work cut out for you. I truly hope so. We are all human and imperfect. I've been around a few decades. You think I missed this? I believe that your are a good person, a good father. And I believe that your home will never be big enough to fill the love that your friends/family have for you. And I hope that someday you analyse the evidence and forget the stigmas you have heard for many years. Stigmas? So Communism was just a "stigma"? Auschwitz was just a "stigma"? Too bad you couldn't do some time in one of their gulags or death camps. I'd like to hear what you thought afterwards. Yeah, I believe Communist and Nazis- -the True Believers- -thought they were out to benefit mankind. They were just grossly, terribly, fatally wrong. Among the "stigmas" I do intend to hang on to is a belief in Western democracy and capitalism. And that would include the US gov't if they ever tried to take from us.
