Just curious... With all the cards do you still have time for the market? Or has the market pretty much burned you out? Or does the market just not take that much time?<g>

Also I'm wondering if you have any experience or background on automated trading systems, and market timing models? I'm reading Zweig's (old) book right now where he talks about market timing and I'm wondering if many folks are successful with that?

thanks, Shane

This year's World Series of Poker has over 8000 entries and 4 "first days." Phil Helmouth and Doyle Brunson have already been knocked out, though Helmouth did get his 10th championship bracelet in an event earlier in the week. That leaves Helmouth, Brunson and Johnny Chan tied for the most bracelets ever at 10 apiece.

Helmouth went out with A/Q vs. 7/7. Been there done that. Been on the other side, too. Of course, then the board came AAQQA. <G>

I pulled one Helmouth would have loved yesterday. I was down to heads up in a sit and go tournament, and had 2/2. I was shorter stacked than the other guy and the blinds were sky high. I only bet deuces under special circumstances, but I had to take a stand or risk being blinded off. So, I went all in. The other guy turned over 9/9 and I started making noises about good game and congrats and I hope your dog dies of rabies after he bites you <G>, when the flop came. 2/2/6. Whoa, baby, it is better to be lucky than good. I ended up rallying from there and winning the SNG. The other player was a gentleman and did not cuss me for sucking out. That's rare online.

Well coming back from a very successful foray to the woods
for both G and me
G was up 500 by dinner
and on the way out the door
she hit 250. ;0)
I have not had such a good day since last summer.
About time.
Oh
those shuffling machines are garbage.
they switched in 3 boxes as one after another
failed.lol
125 tables and they told me they have to fix 8 boxes a day.
I say total bullshit.
I was by the door and these guys hauled out five in an hour that i observed. Short this company.
These machines @ foxwoods are garbage.
harrdy har har:

Shuffling machines have been introduced in some poker rooms. Two decks are constantly in play; one is dealt while the other is shuffled in the machine. To begin a new deal, the dealer removes the shuffled deck from the machine, cuts it, and begins dealing. The machines speed up play, simplify the dealer's work, and also add some security to the game, since the machine counts the cards between every hand.

Any body know who makes these things?
