RE:"This thread was not abandoned." This is true. It just got turned into a political thread back during the 2000 campaign. The moderated thread was then started. The biggest poster was Scumbria. Ardent Gore supporter. I'm sorry to say I contributed. Later Ted tried to get the thread renamed the "Ted Thread". SI refused claiming it was important for people to find the old AMD posts.
