There are only 2 national newspapers in Canada, the
Grope and Flail and the National Post. Each has their good writers and each has their crappy writers. Both have to be read to keep fully informed.
I read both to keep informed on business matters. In fact on some days I consider the Globe to be the crappy paper with the NP carrying stories that are not even in the G & M.

I'm glad that we agree that the NP is a crappy paper, for political coverage at least, which is where the Aspers exercise their directives to enforce a consistent message in their own strong political leanings, both Liberal and pro-Israel. For business, the NP is pretty good -- too bad it is no longer the Financial Post.
