Sounds like some lively conversations going on when you all meet together with the coffee group.

Reminds me when we went into the City Cafe up in the hill country once and there were six of us and there was a table in the corner with six chairs and we, as a family, walked over to it and sat down, whereon the waitress told us we could not sit there as it was for the old timers of the town that came in every morning for coffee and chat. Shortly thereafter, they all started arriving there in their work attire and straw hats and sat down. Conversation among them was sparse until the last one arrived and we could not help but hear some of their conversations after as they each greeted the other like it had been a long time since they last saw each other, even though it was the morning before.

The last time we visited and went into the cafe, it had had been sold and updated, name changed and nowhere was their table to be seen. Many have sold their land sites and moved away for new homes to be built, but I was looking forward to seeing them again and felt nostalgia at the time. One can learn so much history from the old timers and they stood so proud as a group. I hope we never lose these groups, cause they are mostly in every city you go to and more frequently in small towns.
