Thanks so much Don. What I saw there was that MTSN was a true star of the cycle. KLIC outperformed in a big way. We know that stocks like WFR and LRCX went on to do extremely well even after the cyclical peak but they were exceptions.

This leads me to conclude that spreading some risk among the stocks that looked the worst on your list in October 2002:
