Doesn't that count as CAPITULATION if Gottfried and Brian both throw up their hands in disgust at these stocks ?

(I feel the same way by the way)

Now all we need is Cary to say he's HAD IT with this sector, and we'll know it is time to BUY BUY BUY !!!

Anybody seen Cary ?

Gottfried; it almost appears the call buyers were following the formula which seemed to have "worked" to a certain degree.
But as too many (call buyers) figured it out the pattern started changing just like a virus can start mutating.
In 2004 as well 2006 a "ton" of call buyers were betting on an upturn and in both cases 2004 and 2006 they got "sacked" big time.
Ironically the upturn did materialise but it was not reflected in stock price -
Their conclusion was that the best correlation that served as a leading indicator for upward stock rallies is total orders as reported by SEMI. They found that a minimum turning point in total orders as measured by a three month moving average has preceded major price movement in the last two cycles.
