Yeah, the religion does allow four wives but it is only legal in a few countries with small populations and not practiced very often. Most Muslim countries don't allow polygamy.

That is one thing, among a lot of others of course, that turns me off to Islam.. It's the treatment of their women. The male is the dominant figure and the fact that he can have all those wives just reinforces this.. When I was in Muslim countries the women were not allowed in the Mosques... It's like the Orthodox Jews who once made their wives sit in the balcony. Especially when they had their menses.. I could never accept the challenges to being a woman that that religion puts out there.
