What root cause could you deal with that would cause Hezbollah to stop being a severe problem?

If it involves changes in Lebanon, how do you get them opposed if Hezbollah is going to fight it? Maybe by crushing Hezbollah but that's not a negotiated solution but a solution imposed by force.

You do not have to deal with Hezbollah. You have to deal with the root causes.

So forget Baker and his negotiations--now we have to deal with the root causes before we can stop the bleeding in Lebanon? Lotsa blood between here and there.
