"And damn, you agree with him (I think) on Israel/Lebanon! " Let me just say I am conflicted. I think Israel has the right to defend themselves and Hezbollah has been needling them for years. Initially, they had isolated the south and were moving in troops for house to house. That sends the message that Hezbollah and by extension Iran and Syria can't protect them. But it has gone beyond that. This is shaping up to be an attempt at taking down Syria or Iran. Possibly both. And the implications of that are enormous. If that is the case, there are going to be a lot of people dying as the balance of power shifts uncontrollably. We don't know what will result, but free and open democratic countries with a willingness to work with the West seems to be extremely optimistic...
