Elan Quatro said Well Queen Leah, I think we can all agree that Bob takes NO responsibility for the QQQQ Disaster. So, it is good to know that YOU feel sorry for him.

It's inaccurate to say he takes no responsibility. He said he was wrong, in print and in public. Granted, that doesn't do much for those who lost a percentage of their portfolios (do YOU really know anyone who invested 50% of their cash reserves?) and it doesn't satisfy the snivelers and the sarcastic who live to blame and punish.

As a matter of fact, I DO feel sorry for Brinker also, but I assume he can handle it. He gave his readers some honest but very mistaken advice, and then compounded his mistaken advice by continuing to honestly believe too long in the advice he had given. Who would deliberately give continuing mistaken advice to his subscribers, those who had bought and paid for his service? What would be in it for him? Very, very unfortunate for him and for all who depended on that advice. It certainly didn't do anything good for him either. Honest but sadly mistaken.

You don't like the way he failed to provide proper followup. I don't either.

Do YOU know any financial adviser who has NEVER made an honest mistake with his/her financial advice, never made a mistake with someone else's money? Does anyone insist for years on end that THEY are criminally responsible and should be on trial or convicted of fraud (as we have seen from certain sources)?
