Bush ignored the 8-6-01 Warning about Al Qaida attacking inside the US. He did nothing. On the day of 9-11, Bush was paralyzed and did nothing. Cheney was running everything. The next day Bush's first meeting was with Saudi Prince Bandar. The next day all top Saudis and Bin ladens were allowed out of the country without interrogation.

Bush promised to bring those responsible for 9-11 to justice. Within a year, Bush had alloed Bin Laden to escape at Tora Bora, then hardly mentioned him again, except to once say he no longer cared about Bin Laden. All he cares about was Iraq. Which was not involved with 9-11 or Al Qaida and which has now blow up into a civil war. Of Bush's creation.

You should be shedding a tear for how badly Bush has bunged the post 9-11 world, and how asleep at the wheel he was leading up to 9-11. Those are the real tragedies. Any man can hug a victim, but how many can command a military in a smart, efficient way? Kerry could. Even Clinton could (with Wes Clark helping him). But Bush can't. He has proven than.

I'm sorry, but I AM sceptical about Bush's motivations.

I think the whole "good Christian" thing may have come not from any real spiritual conversion but from a calculated political strategy. Bush's "conversion" didn't seem to come about until AFTER he saw his Father get beat in 1988 by Pat Robertson and his well organized and highly motivated Christian supporters.

Bush may be the first "war-time" president to leave the Whitehouse in BETTER shape than when he went in. He doesn't seem to ever let the death or maiming of an American in Iraq upset his exercise program.
