I am not angry with you.

I know you're not. And I'm not angry with you either. Just want you to listen to yourself.

As for political statements, I have taken no position on this business going on in Lebanon. I am simply analyzing and/or observing this and that as it strikes me.

The solution is obvious.

Israel will unilaterally cease fire.

Probably, when they're damn good and ready, Baker or no Baker, so your proposal to send him is both moot and irrelevant.

When Israel unilaterally ceases fire, you'll have half of your desired cease fire, the half you care about. And the next time that the side that hasn't agreed to a cease fire fires, Israel will take action and you'll have no cease fire again. And so on. I'm not sure "solution" is the word for that.

Queen Nor was on Larry King last night. Now, there is not only a beautiful woman but one who makes a great deal of sense.

She said that the conflict between the Arabs and Jews commenced back in 1948... when the Jews took the land that was Palestinian and made 700.000 refugees of the people living there.

She talked about how deep this hatred is and what it takes to correct it.

Parallels the work that I did with my students in Human Relations groups. The young.... have to face one another as she said they did in groups camps where she worked having Arab and Jewish young people meet and exchange. The hatred in the old people is hard to do much about it is so ingrained.

I loved her last sentence in quoting Gandhi...

AN EYE FOR AN EYE ONLY MAKES THE WHOLE WORLD BLIND.

AMEN to that.
