We have had Lyme and Rocky Mountain Spotted fever cases in the county. They're saying take all ticks to a vet to get tested. That and we're under a West Nile alert again. No wonder I want to stay inside.

this is so odd you brought it up

get this, both my nieces got lyme disease - about 2 weeks apart, from the cottage we assume

both horribly sick, both caught fairly early

and

both bit on the bum, so didn't detect the bite right away

they put them on antibiotics, 2 weeks and felt better in 3 days

the headaches were horrendous
