Ork, when those Buffalo proofs are all gone at the mint...

Dealers will be offering "buy" prices...

Let us know when and what happens...

Has anyone here considered Perth Mint 99.999% pure gold, limited to 30,000 (not 300,000) gold Chinese Lunar Calendar series? Can't beat Perth Mint quality and 10 times rarer to boot.

I did and have been accumulating past several years. Year of the Dragon, Horse, Snake all no longer available from the mint (sold out) sporting premiums of hundreds of dollars.

Chinese love the "Dragon" and "Horse" as very lucky. I suppose many westerners will be exposed to the Chinese Lunar Calendar at the upcoming olympics in Beijing.

Just my opinion.

Do you know, is the 300,000 strike for the proof coins or both proof and non-proof?

My local dealer is selling the Buffalos for roughly a $2.50 premium above the American Eagles.

He sold out his 100 coin allotment in one day, but hopes to get more next week.

don't pay attention to me -- I really know very little about coins.
