Israel can get away with murder - literally. So much time is wasted arguing over what Israel can and cannot do. So long as the US is willing to be sugar daddy, Israel can tie people up and shoot them between the eyes one by one on live television and nobody can stop them. The issue is not what Israel can get away with. The issue is how does Israel ever expect to secure peace this way. My position is this: Israel and the US need to do a u-turn on their current approach and then take about 10 to 20 years while people forget what brutal, ruthless murderers they have been. Israel can secure peace once Israel has earned peace. Israel will have peace when it learns to love, to be generous, to be kind, to give without taking, and to appeal to the world to care about their plight, for in the end it is only with the world on its side that Israel has any hope of existing 20 years from now.
