just like Hizbullah should be dealt with for their actions and views

By who exactly? The IDF is apparently getting an earful...from Israelis who are freaked out by how vulnerable the IDF's rhetoric/failure combo has made them look. Even that motley assortment on George's program today recognized the very bad mess the Israeli government has gotten itself into.

One of them made an interesting observation that when the IDF fails like this it's an incredibly serious problem for Israelis and their survival. Therefore the backlash towards the government is severe. Too bad the backlash in the US isn't as severe over Iraq but our survival isn't in question whatever happens over there.

The yammerers also managed to pronounce, more of less, Iraq as a lost cause. They were speculating, which I'm sure is coming, how Republicans are going to make CUTTING AND RUNNING before 2008 look like a Republican victory.

Part of this is based on the very, very, very, VERY bleak assessment by Abizaid and crew this week and the drop dead silence from Pace waffling between looking like a delusional incompetent or looking as if he's calling Rumsfeld a delusional incompetent.

If this wasn't about war, it would actually be funny...the Keystone Administration.

I don't watch the Sunday rhetoric fest very often so I was surprised how definite the talkingheads were about the civil war in Iraq and the total inability of the US to do anything about it.

Now all that's left is more spinning and more dying until someone calls Uncle.

Exactly how, Hawk? Would you go nuclear?
