By who exactly? The IDF is apparently getting an earful...from Israelis who are freaked out by how vulnerable the IDF's rhetoric/failure combo has made them look.

Well, ideally it SHOULD BE THE LEBANESE ARMY, now shouldn't it??

But they have been AWOL for the past 6 years.

And certainly the Syrians, who occupied Lebanon for decades until last year, didn't do anything to disarm Hizbullah. In fact, they were one of Hizbullah's primary benefactors, providing them with thousands of Katyushas filled with ball bearings.

So you tell me? Who's responsible for restoring Lebanon's sovereignty in the face of a heavily armed militia that does not subscribe to democratic values, or the concept that the duly elected government of Lebanon should be the only entity that decides when Lebanon goes to war with a neighboring country??

Who was responsible for destroying the Nazis, even though not all Germans subscribe to Nazi aspirations or views?

Did many "innocent" Germans suffer for the aggression of the Nazis? Did many "innocent" Japanese die from strategic bombings because they could not restrain the militarists who seized control over Japan's government?

The world is a tragic place.

Made even more tragic when people like you ignore such realities and threats until such a point where they can no longer be ignored.
