I am afraid the israelis are about to teach Lebanon a lesson by destroying the infrastructure of the country.

That's why it's imperative that a UN force, with teeth, be deployed into Lebanon as soon as possible.

Their PM has got to recognize that the only way to maintain his hold on political power will be to rely upon the international community to do what his own army is incapable of doing.

If he doesn't then he'll be permitting the Syrians and Iranians to "call the tune" in Lebanon.

What about a US master? Israel has a US master a weak one I might add. Israel and its master are being taught a lesson, like in Vietnam, being big and strong means nothing. Can you tell me why is it taking 26 days to disarm a militia? Why is it taking 1000 civilians most of children? Times have changed. Saddam with his scuds couldn't do what a militia of 5,000 is doing. That is a moral defeat for the US and Israel. I think that the US taxpayer will rethinking sending those Billions of $$ to Israel.
