You're making the assumption that because something is the status quo, it is the way it should be. That, of course, is not necessarily the case. Then it strikes me as rather surprising that you believe Israel has no right to exist (or should be forced to merge with the Palestinians). Because what you are advocating is completely re-shaping the world order, despite many international conventions CONDEMNING any annexation of territory as the result of aggression and war. Welcome to the real world Elroy.. Nation states exist because they have the will and means to guarantee the sanctity of their borders. And the US is no different. Hawk
