Some Indian businessman wants to take over Coke's and Pepsi's market. The last time it happened in 1977 when Coke was kicked out. They even came up with a Govt. sponsored cola called "77". Campa Cola and Thums Up were the Indian versions of Coke and Pepsi. Thums Up had a great brand and unique taste that Indians liked. When coke was allowed back in India, they quickly bought out Parle - the maker of Thums Up. Slowly they weakened an existing brand and replaced it with Coke.
