Most of those who knew about Holocaust, at least during WWII never lived to tell anybody about it. A couple of Hungarian guys, - or was it just one? - who escaped from Auschwitz in 1944 informed the Allies and they ignored that. Ever read Churchills monumental work "The Second World War" (1948-1954, 6 volumes), which gave him the Nobel Prize in Literature?
As far as I know "Holocaust" wasn't mentioned once in same work, which may be the reason why so much effort has been spent on proving that "Churchill knew about the Holocaust".

But then again, it was only written just after the war.
