Hi neolib; Re: "Of course, neither Mexico or Canada would push the matter that far either." On the other hand, we haven't used our superior military to take land from our neighbors, introduced huge numbers of immigrants from Europe, built up a huge military and prevented a "right of return". Oh, we did do that with Mexico??? Well in that case, the reason the Mexico / US border is peaceful and the Israeli borders are not is that we're a big dog and can get away with that sort of thing, while they're a tiny country and cannot. -- Carl
