I'm not defending Enron. I didn't say they where innocent of wrong doing, but there would have been problems even without any unusual or questionable actions from Enron. The so called deregulation plan in CA stands out as one of the worst major regulatory changes I can think of in modern American history.

And yes Ed Gillespie and Ralph Reed both worked for both of them and prove their alliance.

You seem to have a problem understanding the meaning of the word "prove".
