Well, he announced this morning he is running as an independent to try and block the leftists taking over the Democratic party. Now you have TWO old line Democrats with impeccable credentials announcing the severe left turn of the democratic party. What do the American people need to see to realize how dangerous that party has become? jdn

I think he's committed to running. Maybe there's a reason CT Republicans kept this palooka that can't poll out of the single digits on the ticket. It's hard to imagine Lieberman becoming a Republican, but I can see the CT Republican Party putting their resources into his campaign.

He will not run if he isn't squeaky clean. His party will dig as deep as they must. If they don't find anything.....they'll invent something.
