Anyone remember Zell Miller, another old time Democrat who said, "I didnt leave my party, my party left me". I guess Lieberman feels the same. jdn

It's hard to imagine Lieberman becoming a Republican, but I can see the CT Republican Party putting their resources into his campaign.

Last night, Hannity asked Mary Matalin if she was registered to vote in CT whether she would, as a republican, vote for Lieberman as an independent. She hemmed and hawed, talking about the "best candidate" and such.

Hannity said, "I'll take that as an answer, of sorts."

Face it, CT is a Blue, Blue, Blue state. Republicans don't have a snowball's chance in hell of electing their candidate against Lamont. I could see a lot of Republicans tossing their vote Lieberman's way, and hope they do.
