I agree that Q does not need to raise cash right now. As a matter of fact they generated more cash by selling put options.
However, with the stock under pressure for more than 3 months now, shareholders are getting nervous, and I am not talking about shareholders on this thread. Institutional, pension, funds, mutual funds, endowment funds, etc. Remember that Kirk Kerkorian called for an overhaul of GM, and that money losing automobile producer which lost money quarter after quarter shows its stock approaching Q which makes money quarter after quarter.

Probably the strategy of Nokia is to get Q distracted from day to day operation since you have to make shareholders happy as well.
