In your scenario, the pps has gone from .003 to .01. Anyone who converted $1000 would be getting back $2000. Yet had someone not converted their .003 cost basis shares, they'd be getting back $3000. If PLNI advances this idea, anyone wishing the price will go up would be foolish to participate. Frankly, I don't think you can state any scenario where it would make sense to convert. If there were, it would have been done in droves by now. It's a sucker's game.

One more thing about your scenario: you base things on a fixed conversion price of .003. What if I had bought 1M shares at .01 ($10K worth)? No matter how you slice it, the most shares I can remove from the float is 1M. By your scenario you are equating my $10K worth to ~3M shares of common, doubling to ~6M shared of preferred. Again, you can't retire what never was.
