The man with the gold makes the rules. Your Indian friend

The one with the biggest guns makes the rules - just ask IRAN, afghanistan and Iraq, Japan, Germany, Italy - etc etc

conclusion that the man with the gold alway wins.

ALWAYS? Just like he did in 1930 eh? hehe He made the rules that the gubbment could force him to follow the law and take dollars for his gold eh? hehe Look Al Capone tried it your way - he tried to do it HIS way and make the rules - and for a time he DID - but the society around him had more resources to enforce THEIR COLLECTIVE WILL on him than he did on them - same as it ever was. Tupac and Biggie Smalls had big gold and platinum chains on their Neck - they tried exercising that "GOLDEN RULE" and they are pushing up daisies now six feet under. You can't go against the will of the sheep around you for LONG without serious reprecussions no matter the hoards of gold you possess. Ken Lay thought he had lots of power, money and influence and for a time he did - but he lost his throne too.

He buys the man with the MREs, he buys the man with the pigs, he buys their daughters and their sons. Really no different than today, just the medium used to entice is somewhat different.

I assure you - you show up at my door wanting some oranges or MRE's that I am EATING and all you got is some shiny metal - you gonna be one hungry fellow. What is your backup plan if owning gold doesn't make you the King of Chicago? They are having a gun show at the tampa fairgrounds this weekend - gonna build up your arsenal?

If anything hits the fan I want to do my best to ensure I'm one of the men with the gold.

In Zimbabwe I wonder if the white farmers that owned gold were able to buy off Mugabe - didn't seem like it to me - because of thier skin color got run off thier land or shot and killed - they must not have known how to use the gold properly to buy off Mugabe eh? What suckers they are pushing up daisies now!

I live about 45 minutes north of you in Spring Hill.

I went up there to that micro brewery beer place and a seafood place on spring hill drive a couple times - where is the good eating in that town? I went to an italian place there too - their veal parmesan was OK. What all is worth seeing there? I hear they are having a real hard time with drugs and hookers in that town.
