Flying naked? new rules banning most toiletries in carry-on bags: include beverages, toothpaste, shampoo, hand cream, suntan lotion, hair gel or items of similar consistency.

Are any liquids permitted?

Exceptions baby formula, breast milk and juice for babies or toddlers, plus liquid medications and insulin an adult may be asked to taste liquids intended for babies in the presence of a security screener.

Travelers flying to, or connecting through, the United Kingdom are not allowed to bring carry-on bags, the Department for Transport in London says. Here's what you can carry on: a wallet or very small, pocket-size purse; travel documents such as passport and travel tickets; eyeglasses and sunglasses (without cases); contact lens case (but no solution); tissues; female sanitary items; and keys (but no electronic key fobs). Also, books are not permitted, according to John Lampl, a British Airways spokesman.

You'd be asked to travel nude going like this!!!

"Attention all passengers. You're free to board BA5613 to New York. Strip off all your clothes and proceed to the gate B44.
Pregnant women should deliver the baby before boarding the plane. Have a nice flight."

One could suppose that the Iranians are merely doing the necessary as their neighbor got taken apart because it precisely did not have nukes.

Possibly.. but do you want to bet the peace of the region on it? Face it, oil prices are high because of the bluster and provocations going by both Bush and Ahmadinejad.

But I believe I'm correct in saying that Bush is not threatening to wipe Iran off the face of the earth.

And long before Bush ever included Iran in his "axis of evil", the Iranian government was calling the US "The Great Satan" and funding groups like Hizbullah who have called for the destruction of the US, as well as Israel.

Now, I know.. we're supposed to be "big boys" and be able to rise above heated rhetoric of a fanatical regime such as Iran, or even N. Korea.

But rhetoric is FAR DIFFERENT from action. And arming a proxy group to subvert the government of Lebanon and carry on some futile war against Israel with long-range rockets and raising a force of 2000 suicide bombers to be used against the West, AND funding fanatical groups like Muqtada Al-Sadr's Mahdi Militia suggest that it's more than just words on the part of Ahmadinejad.

And the fact that the whole Mid-East almost erupted into regional war over Iran and Syria's "adventurist" activities, I wouldn't underestimate the support for at least implementing some form of limited sanctions upon Iran if they don't comply with IAEA requirements. Requirements, I might add, are required of all signators of the NPT, a treaty which Iran violated for 18 years as they secretly pursued undisclosed enrichment activities operated by the IRGC.

And why would the IRGC being charge of a nuclear program? They are not a "civilian" energy agency.

Now you can "pooh-pooh" the threat posed by Islamic militancy all you want, but China is taking the threat seriously in Xijiang province, now aren't they? But we don't hear much about their activities there, nor China's response to the threat.

And btw, one another topic of countries occupying other countries, when is China going to leave Tibet, a country who's citizens doen't even share the same language??

Of course, I could also ask when the West is going to make an issue of it?

Hawk

More gold to be made: Any element heavier than Iron and lighter than Uranium- silver and gold, for example- can only be made in Supernovae, the violently explosive death of a star. supernova shines as brightly as all the stars in the galaxy for several months then slowly fades, cools, and becomes a nebula which in turn gives birth to a new star…

Betelgeuse glyphweb.com in the constellation Orion is about to die. It is a red supergiant which many astronomers believe will go supernova within the next 1,000 years. (hence more gold will be made) It could go tomorrow. Though Betelgeuse is only 15 times more massive than our Sun, it is as much as 40 million times greater in volume; that means if our Sun was a soccer ball, Betelgeuse would be the new Wembley Stadium in London. Betelgeuse is only 500 light years away from Earth. As a supernova shines as brightly as all the stars in the galaxy for several months after it explodes, when Betelgeuse goes, we will have two suns for a few months.

Actually Betelgeuse may go supernova in a few million of years!!
