I'm pretty sure Hoover wasn't a progressive LOL but I am pretty sure that Dubyette would like his hold on politicos. You bet old white men did bad things back then but FDR was a progressive in the main and an actual adult. In fact, the current fascist administration wants desperately to dismantle FDR's progressive policies as their fathers and grandfathers before them did. The key is to NOT REPEAT his mistakes but to learn from them. Face it Ms. Hawkette. You support FASCISM. It's a free country, you can think whatever you like but you should at least be honest with yourself. You would have been on the side of the British during the revolutionary war, on the side of slavery during the civil war and on the side of fascism during WWII.
