You failed logic 101 in school, right? Or at the very least never took an advanced economics course in your life.

Everyone living in america must eat and have shelter. You can choose the welfare route, but assuming you don't want to live like that you must earn money.

Everyone that earns money has to do some work for it, or figure out a way to swindle it. Or inherit it. Most go the work route. Every penny earned through work is taxed. Now the government doesn't accept chickens, or livestock, or fruit, in payment for those taxes. Those taxes must be paid in DOLLARS. And who gets to print all the dollars they want, at no cost? The federal government.

Thus, since people have to eat, and they have to pay their taxes in dollars, the very act of taxation is an inducement to work.

You dont think my examples have anything to do with reality? You think we can solve the social security demographic imbalance by just printing up a few more trillion dollars and handing them out to seniors? We can raise taxes to 100% of income on every working american and it won't save social security because there will STILL BE TOO MANY OLD PEOPLE and not enough young people capable of doing the labor to wipe their asses and change their bedpans.

That simple example, which will shortly become reality, shows PERFECTLY how money is not the source of wealth and social stability- labor and resources are. If you can't understand that simple concept, there's not much point in trying to teach you further.

2 - While it is true that society would fall apart if nobody worked, taxing labor is hardly an inducement for people to work.

Your examples have nothing to do with reality, and don't support your point.
