Slick built probably the largest bubble in US history, certainly the 2nd largest, and he is supposed to get credit for this gross mismanagement?

AG spurred on the piling of leverage on leverage and Slick praised his unbelievable stupidity. Anyone but an idiot knew that was a bubble and its bursting was only a matter of time, He should kiss GWB's feet that his administration has handled the aftermath of the crash as well as it has.

The economy under Bush is as good as or better than Clinton's "Goldilocks" economy, but you don't believe that in spite of overwhelming evidence to prove it. And Clinton's "Goldilocks" economy turned into Clinton's recession before Bush took office, replete with a stock market in free fall & multiple major corporate scandals about to shock the markets & the economy.

Uh........just one metric will make my point...........the unemployment rate which was much higher under the first Bush and therefore had a greater distance to go is much lower than the current rate under the second Bush and we have been out of recession for four years. Job growth has never approached the rate of the Clinton years. And I have to stop here....remembering how great things were during the Clinton years and the nightmare that has ensued since he left office, only makes me want to projectile vomit.

Oh, and Clinton's failed foreign policies of appeasement & ignoring the dramatically growing threat of terrorism contributed mightily to 9/11 - in addition to the massive loss of lives, was the $2 Trillion hit to the economy.

The only failures I see that have damaged the economy are Afghanistan and Iraq. Iraq has cost this country a fortune [see national debt]. And mark my words, we will end up paying for the debacle in Lebanon.
