This sounds like a pretty promising development, though the concept of attacking the tumor's blood supply makes me a bit nervous. They do make the point, though, that blood vessels feeding tumors are much wider and can thus accommodate the liposome wrapped sirna, whereas normal blood vessels at 2 nm cannot.

Is this as big a deal as it sounds from reading the article, or are there similar delivery/efficacy results from other animal model trials? Thanks in advance.
