Elroy, I don't believe that the problems in the Middle East can be contained. Tossing Israel to the Arabs is perhaps the most effective way to empower the Islamic extremists, for it will prove to them that might makes right and that the West is too weak. Hence the reason why some have called Israel the front-line in the war on terrorism. (Which, come to think of it, would also explain why some of the liberals on this thread no longer believe in keeping Israel around.) Tenchusatsu
