Or even help them? Why were some of the hi-jackers still found alive after being identified by the US as the hi-jackers? They should have been dead! Because there were no hi-jackers. It's a made up story.

They say bin Laden is responsible for 9/11. He allegedly orchestrated this highly complex attack with military precision. In other words he is no dummy; his operation is quite sophisticated.

How is it then that Osama could count on NORAD and our air defenses standing down on 9/11?

*Normally* our air defenses would have had scrambled jets in minutes to intercept airliners that clearly had been hijacked.

Even if somehow the first plane which crashed into the north tower was not stopped, certainly the second would have been taken down over 15 minutes later. And it is even more suspect that the third plane (allegedly) made it all the way to the Pentagon and crashed well over an hour after the first hijacking was discovered.

Clearly Osama bin Laden could not have been ignorant of the hundreds of incidents prior to 9/11 where fighter jets were scrambled within mere minutes.

So why would he devise a plan to hijack these 4 airliners and ram them into high-value targets when for all he knew the government would intervene rather quickly as had been done previously *hundreds* of times in the past???

Seems like a high-risk/low-reward proposition, wouldn't you say?

The only way 9/11 could be successful was for our air defenses to be virtually non-existant on 9/11. If our air defenses were even sub-par the Pentagon surely would not have been hit, and most likely the second tower as well.

If our air defenses had been working even normally on 9/11 even the first tower should not have been hit. For it was a full half an hour after it had most likely been hijacked and well over twenty minutes after it was clearly hijacked before the first plane even struck the tower.

Osama clearly had to be aware of the capability of our air defenses prior to carrying out an attack of the magnitude of 9/11, realizing that in any sort of normal circumstance, none of the planes would have successfully reached their targets....

One is left to conclude that no one would even attempt to carry out the sort of attack that was carried out on 9/11 unless they had prior *assurance* that fighters would *not* be scrambled, hence the airliners would not be shot down prior to reaching their targets.

So at a minimum one must concede that someone in the Pentagon or the Bush administration tipped off Osama that on that day our air defenses would be stretched thin and confused by all the military training exercises that were going on. Or Al Qaeda operatives have infiltrated the Bush administration and our military and didn't need tipping off.

It couldn't just be a *coincidence* that bin Laden just happened to pick the one day to carry out 9/11 that our air defenses were virtually non-existant!

When are the articles of impeachment going to be drawn up? Where are the military tribunals for the Bush administration?
