there is absolutely no logical explanation for how and why WTC-7 actually collapsed, what caused the collapes of that steel framed building. Every time I have to go through this excersise I learn something new. I read more of the reports on WTC-7 than I had before. I used to think that Silverman and the NYFD had it demolished, but after reading about the extent of the damage to the building it is perfectly plausible that it fell from the failure of a key column (or three). It had a load-balancing design, which worked in reverse when three pivitol columns were knocked out. The load balancing cantelevers then pulled the rest of the building out of balance. WTC-7 was not a redundant, rectilinear steel frame like the Empire State Building or other old buildings. It had an innovating design that allowed more open space on the bottom floors. wtc.nist.gov Page 20 is particularly illuminating. There are so many inconsistencies ... They can all be looked at one at a time. It can seem overwhelming if you look at a whole stack of items for which you don't yet have the answers. All you have to do is work through them bit by bit and you wind up with only a very small number of inconsistencies in an otherwise coherent story. TP
