No, my statement is accurate and fully in line with the military and political histories of the Israeli/Arab wars since 1948. If you would like specifics, I can give you lots. Just for starters, go read the history of the 1973 war, and see how it started, how it ended, and who won it. Then go see how the Egyptians tell the tale. You write as if you obtained what little information you have from Zmag and The Nation and are just shocked to pieces that anybody could assert any history that you hadn't learned there. So very unPC -- come on now, repeat the mantra "all cultures are really equal, all cultures are really equal, mustn't judge colonially oppressed brown people, it's only okay to judge Americans, Europeans and Israelis"
