I can see how Dale does not want this used as a cudgel against GWB, but I agree with you that it is pertinent to the discussion of his policies, especially those toward the ME.

I think it is most likely that GWB believes in the Rapture, since he is an Evangelical, and that this explains many of his actions and decisions that otherwise do not make sense.
