I try to always be honest. I don't try to be rambling, that is just a gift.

In the same vein, this morning I read an article that raised questions about the way in which the UK obtained information on the recent terrorist plot. That info had come by way of Pakistan who used torture to get it, and the implication in the Guardian article was that this "polluted" British justice and should not have been used.
Hmm. Ten jets filled with people exploding in the sky v. using the information gained from another country by methods we don't approve...

Personally, I don't have to think too long about that one, but these are the issues we need to consider. They may feel abstract, but they lie at the heart of our policies and our actions and what moral compromises we may be willing to make.
