Yeah, there must be something seriously wrong with me that I don't believe everything I see posted by kooks in Internet chat rooms, especially when those comments come from those helpless to back up their claims when requested to do so.

I think Don does have a point about the sample analysis. For samples to be considered valid and trustworthy, there needs to be a chain of custody regarding how/when they were collected and transported and the laboratory and methods used to analyze them must be known and certified. Otherwise the results are interesting for a conspiracy buff to contemplate but irrelevant from a serious researcher's point of view. They are just not scientifically valid samples without the proper methodolgies and backup, if that can be provided then discussion can take on a new life as a serious consideration of what the samples tell us. One question that should be asked is why were the "authorities" so quick to wisk away the 9/11 evidence and not examine it as any crime scene should be investigated? Why weren't samples collected in the scientifically acceptable manner and analyzed to ensure something like this does not happen ever again? Why was the steel melted? Why were building material samples not collected. Seems like they had something to hide and given the recordings from 9/11/01 many of us can speculate that they might be hiding such things as evidence of demolition explosives.
