what he is saying that fewer and fewer firms are listed on the TSX. Remember when it was the TSE 300. Now they don't have 100 good companies (blue chips) Canadian companies are either going bankrupt, or consolidating or being bought out by foreign companies.

So where people used to buy some blue chips and some riskier and some high energy stocks now there are fewer and fewer really good companies to invest in, and the money is quickly flowing out of the country.
